Benefits of Polycotton or Technical Cotton
The Polycotton, also known as Technical Cotton, has the following benefits:
- Better resistance to UV rays,
- Greater breathability than a traditional polyester tarp,
- Longer life cycle,
- A lighter tarp than a 100% cotton tarp.
However you must be careful as Polycotton is a fabric that needs particular attention when drying and cleaning stains.

Ease of use
This tarp connects to our TEPEE 5.2 Polycotton tent but it can always be used alone.
It can be used in multiple configurations, as an extra living space in front of your tent or an additional shelter for protecting your belongings against the rain and wind. Not only can you peg it to the ground, but you can also use any trees that are available.

Sun protection

Maintenance advice
Our camping tarps have been designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks per year) when camping or in the great outdoors. Continued exposure to UV rays over several weeks can damage the fabric. These products are not classified as “garden furniture” and aren’t designed to be left outdoors permanently. To guarantee maximum robustness of your tent, it's important to store it in a dry place when not in use.
