The skandika Multi‑Purpose Tent is the answer to that one wish every camper has had at least once: more space. We’ve designed a tent that solves countless “where do we put this?” problems, is fully weatherproof, made with recycled materials and can even be used as a full camping tent in its own right.
Perfect as a weatherproof kitchen tent With plenty of headroom and lots of space for a cooking area, sink table, food storage and a cool box, cooking and washing up in the multi‑purpose tent is actually enjoyable – even when the weather isn’t. Without the floor fitted, it also works brilliantly as a covered pavilion for the buffet at your next garden party.
Can also be used as a full camping tent This multi‑purpose tent is a real all‑rounder. Because we haven’t cut corners on weather protection or comfort, you can easily use it as a proper camping tent. With two people, there’s still loads of room for baggage; alternatively, up to three people can sleep comfortably inside.
Smart bathtub groundsheet for flexibility This square universal tent offers a comfortable standing height of 210 cm and comes with a matching bathtub‑style groundsheet that attaches all the way round to the outer tent with hook‑and‑loop fasteners for a snug, draught‑free fit. At the doors, the sides of the groundsheet can be folded down to eliminate the usual trip hazard.
Three entrances with protective double doors The front door is extra wide, while the two side doors are slightly narrower to leave space for large panorama windows that flood the interior with light, even when the doors are closed. All three entrances are double doors: inner mesh doors and outer fabric doors for reliable protection from wind, weather and insects.
Panorama windows – cooking with a view A large panorama window made from clear foil sits in the back wall. Even if kitchen units or other camping furniture are placed underneath it, you still keep an open view to the outside – perfect for “cooking with a view”. For privacy, all windows can be darkened from the inside with blinds.
Optimal airflow and protection Above the panorama window there is a half‑moon mesh window that helps create a pleasant indoor climate and can act as a vent for cooking steam. Additional roof vents support air circulation. A clever rear canopy over the half‑moon window protects it effectively from wind and rain.
Recycled polyester for conscious camping The outer tent fabric is fully weatherproof with a 3,000 mm hydrostatic head and is made from 100% recycled polyester. This helps cut down on waste and saves resources, so you can enjoy your camping trips while choosing materials that make more efficient use of what’s already there. The fabric also offers UPF 50+ sun protection.
Thoughtful details for extra comfort Practical touches such as doors that can be set up as shade‑giving canopies, a ceiling hook for a camping lamp, organiser pockets under the side windows and reflective guy lines all add comfort and safety. The tent is quick and easy to pitch, and light enough to transport and store without fuss.
