The Skandika Camper Tramp 2 Protect XL is the latest addition to our range of stand-alone campervan awnings. This smart extension for your vehicle gives you extra living space and an upgraded level of comfort, while still being quick to pitch and easy to handle. Spacious XL living area Wider and longer than previous Camper Tramp models, the 2 Protect XL creates a bright, open living space with 205 cm standing height. There is ample room for table, chairs, luggage and camping equipment – ideal for relaxed evenings, rainy‑day retreats or longer stays.
Panoramic windows and light control Large panoramic PVC windows fill the interior with daylight and create a friendly, open feel. All windows come with zip-up blinds that you can close from the inside whenever you want privacy or a darker space for resting.
Comfortable sleeping cabin for two The large inner cabin offers a comfortable, sheltered sleeping area for two people. Cleverly positioned cut-outs mean you can open and darken the side panoramic windows directly from inside the cabin, so you can control light and airflow without stepping out of your sleeping space.
Bathtub groundsheet with folding section The fully sewn-in bathtub groundsheet keeps moisture, draughts and insects reliably outside. At the door it can be folded down flat, removing the step and making it easy to get in and out – especially useful with children, pets or when you’re moving around in the dark.
Two entrances with mosquito mesh Both entrance doors are fitted with mosquito mesh, allowing excellent ventilation while keeping insects out. The XL front door can also be set up as a sun canopy, giving you a shaded outdoor sitting area – the necessary poles are included.
Flexible vehicle connection The connection tunnel can be attached neatly to your vehicle using the keder rail or quickly secured with three tension straps – no tools required. A side door in the tunnel provides direct access to the vehicle without having to walk through the main tent each time.
Free-standing and flexible The awning can stand completely on its own. Simply detach the tunnel from the vehicle, zip it closed in a weatherproof way and drive off. While you’re away, a full, usable tent remains on the pitch, ready for your return.
Weather-resistant and robust With a 3,000 mm water column and sturdy fibreglass poles, the Camper Tramp 2 Protect XL is built for changeable weather. Whether it’s sun, wind or rain, you have reliable shelter on campsites across Ireland and beyond.
Practical organiser pockets Organiser pockets beside the cabin door and small inner pockets in the cabin keep phones, torches and other small items close to hand. Everything has its place, so the awning stays tidy even on longer trips.
Lamp hooks and cable entry Hooks in both the living area and the cabin make it easy to hang lights exactly where you need them. A weather-protected cable entry allows you to bring power safely into the tent – perfect for running a cool box, charging devices and keeping the space well lit.
Compact pack size Despite its generous footprint, the awning packs down to a handy 70 × 32 × 25 cm. The supplied carry bag makes it easy to transport and keeps the tent clean and dust‑free in the boot or at home.
