The Cocoon Innerbag Ripstop Nylon Primaloft is engineered for adventurers who refuse to let dropping temperatures compromise their sleep quality. This technical mummy-shaped liner acts as a powerful thermal boost for your existing sleeping system, making it perfect for high-altitude trekking, winter camping, or alpine expeditions. Designed to fit precisely inside technical sleeping bags, its tapered cut eliminates cold spots and maximizes heat retention without adding restrictive bulk to your gear setup. The smooth fabric glides easily against clothing, allowing you to turn and move comfortably throughout the night.
Beyond delivering instant warmth, this liner serves as a practical asset for maintaining your equipment. It creates a clean barrier between your body and your main sleeping bag, absorbing moisture and protecting the delicate interior down or synthetic insulation from oils and dirt. This significantly reduces how often you need to wash your expensive sleeping bag, preserving its loft and extending its lifespan. Packing down into a remarkably compact size, it integrates effortlessly into lightweight backpacking systems, ensuring you stay prepared for unpredictable outdoor climates.
Technically, this innerbag combines a durable 20-denier ripstop nylon shell with a premium layer of Primaloft insulation. The ripstop nylon fabric offers an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, resisting tears and abrasions while remaining incredibly lightweight and wind-resistant. Primaloft synthetic insulation is celebrated for its ability to mimic the structure of down, trapping warm air efficiently within ultra-fine fibers. Unlike down, Primaloft retains its insulating properties even if exposed to damp conditions, ensuring reliable thermal efficiency in humid tents or rainy mountain ranges.
The materials used are highly breathable, allowing body moisture to escape so you stay dry and warm instead of cold and clammy. The synthetic construction is hydrophobic, meaning it absorbs minimal water and dries exceptionally fast after washing or airing out on the trail. Complete with a tailored hood and an insulated foot box, this technical liner optimizes your sleep system's efficiency from head to toe.
