Dome tents are a favourite for all kinds of outdoor adventures. The classic igloo shape makes pitching quick and hassle‑free while keeping the tent stable, even when the weather turns. Our clever skandika Dale dome tents go a big step further: they’re smartly designed and fully equipped to give you reliable protection from wind, rain and strong sun – plus loads of practical details for real comfort on the campsite.
Easy pitching The dome design keeps the tent stable, even in blustery conditions. Colour‑coded poles make pitching straightforward, and the flexible, wind‑permeable pole sleeves in elastic fabric add extra tear resistance, even in strong winds.
Well-designed porch area This compact dome tent offers a spacious sleeping cabin for up to 3 people and a generous porch for bags and gear. The bathtub-style groundsheet protects against damp and creepy-crawlies – and folds down at the front for a comfortable, trip-free entry.
Skandika Sleeper Technology The outer tent around the sleeping cabin has a special coating that absorbs almost 100% of sunlight in this area. Want a lie‑in or a midday nap? The darker interior makes it much easier – even when it’s bright outside.
UV protection The tent fabric offers UV protection of 50+. This helps prevent the material becoming brittle or cracked from strong sun. The tent stays in good condition for longer, heats up more slowly and supports a more comfortable climate inside.
Two doors Two separate entrances give you more flexibility, as at least one door can usually be kept sheltered from the wind. The rear entrance also lets you access the sleeping cabin directly without walking through the porch – especially handy at night.
Comfortable inner climate Two triangular side windows made from mosquito mesh let plenty of light into the tent while keeping insects out. Together with the roof vents in the dome, they keep fresh air moving – and can be closed up to be weatherproof and private whenever needed.
Smart front door The front entrance is extremely versatile, with a large panorama window, a full blackout panel for privacy and darkening, plus an extra inner door made from mosquito mesh. Whatever the weather brings – the Dale’s front door is ready.
Practical details Inside the cabin you’ll find a hook for hanging a lamp and organiser pockets for your phone and other small items. A cable entry point allows you to bring power into the tent from outside. The dome tent comes packed in a robust carry bag for easy transport and storage.
Versatile and popular Easy pitching and excellent stability make dome tents very popular. This stylish model is ideal for friends and families on the campsite, at festivals or simply for camping out in the garden at home.
