The MSR Hubba Hubba BikePack 2 is the definitive shelter for cyclists who crave off-road exploration. Building on the legacy of the legendary Hubba Hubba series, this version is meticulously tailored for the unique demands of cycling adventures. The standout feature is the shortened pole segments, designed to fit perfectly between drop bars or inside compact panniers. Setting up camp is intuitive and fast, allowing you to transition from the saddle to total relaxation in just minutes.
Inside, the tent offers a spacious retreat with a true rectangular floor and impressive headroom. The vertical walls create a sense of openness, allowing two people to sit up comfortably and organize their gear. Thoughtful details like integrated clotheslines and oversized gear lofts make it easy to manage damp cycling kits and keep small essentials within reach. Whether you are traversing mountain passes or navigating forest trails, this tent provides a sanctuary that feels like home.
Technically, the tent is built to withstand the elements while remaining lightweight. The DAC poles are exceptionally strong, providing a stable structure even in gusty conditions. Both the rainfly and floor feature a DuraShield coating, ensuring excellent waterproof performance. The inner tent uses a strategic blend of mesh and solid fabric to balance airflow and privacy, effectively managing condensation for a comfortable interior climate.
The specialized waterproof handlebar bag is a core part of the design, featuring spacers that keep the bag away from your brake lines and shifters. The bag attaches securely to various handlebar shapes, remaining stable on technical terrain. With dual StayDry doors and large vestibules, entering the tent in the rain is hassle-free, and there is ample protected space for your bike gear.
