The horizon beckons and the weight on your back should never be a reason to hold back. This lightweight shelter is designed for those who seek to explore remote landscapes without compromising on comfort. Whether you are traversing mountain passes or settling in a hidden valley, the ease of transport makes every kilometer feel lighter. The compact pack size ensures it fits seamlessly into a trekking backpack, leaving plenty of room for other essentials. Setting up camp becomes a rewarding ritual rather than a chore. Thanks to the unified hub-and-pole system and a symmetrical design, the structure stands firm in minutes, even when the light is fading or the weather is turning. It provides a reliable sanctuary where you can retreat and recover after a day of intense physical activity.
Inside, the focus is entirely on livability and space. Unlike many other lightweight models, this version features a true rectangular floorplan. This means no tapering at the feet, allowing two adults to lie side-by-side with ample room for wide sleeping pads. The vertical sidewalls create an impressive amount of headroom, so you can sit up comfortably while planning the next day's route or enjoying a meal. Two large doors provide easy access for both occupants, eliminating the need to climb over one another during the night. The vestibules offer significant storage space for muddy boots and heavy packs, keeping the sleeping area clean and organized. The mesh canopy is perfect for clear nights, allowing you to watch the stars while ensuring a constant flow of fresh air.
The technical construction relies on high-performance materials that balance weight and strength. The frame is built with DAC NFL 9.3 mm aluminum poles, known for their exceptional durability and flexibility under wind pressure. The rainfly is crafted from 20D ripstop nylon with a 1200 mm waterproof rating, treated with a polyether urethane and silicone coating for long-lasting protection. The floor uses a similar 20D ripstop nylon but with an 1800 mm rating to prevent moisture from seeping through when pitched on damp ground. Every seam is meticulously taped to ensure a watertight seal against the elements.
These technical choices result in a shelter that manages condensation exceptionally well. The kickstand vents in the rainfly work in tandem with the micromesh tent body to create a chimney effect, drawing moist air out and bringing cool air in. This significantly improves comfort during humid nights. The StayDry™ doors feature integrated rain gutters that direct water away from the entrances, so the interior remains dry even when you are entering or exiting during a downpour. With reinforced stress points and high-quality metal hardware, this tent is built to withstand the rigors of frequent use in diverse conditions.
