Our Skandika Namsos range is an exciting alternative to traditional dome tents. Thanks to the hexagonal shape with almost 4.5 m² of floor space, these igloo tents offer plenty of room for two people to sleep and still leave space for bags and gear. The range is now extended with this model featuring a pre-hung sleeping cabin and an innovative Quick-Start function.
Spacious interior The six-sided shape without internal dividers lets you use almost 4.5 m² of floor space to the full. There is plenty of sleeping room for 2 people, plus enough space to store luggage and camping equipment neatly inside the tent.
Innovative Quick-Start function Thanks to the clever Quick-Start system and pre-assembled fibreglass poles with joints, one person can pitch the tent in around 1 minute. The sleeping cabin with fully sewn-in groundsheet also comes pre-hung and is ready to use straight away.
Skandika Sleeper Technology A special coating on the outer tent fabric blocks almost 100% of incoming sunlight. Fancy a lie-in or a lunchtime nap? With Skandika Sleeper Technology, you can enjoy a darker, cooler interior even in bright conditions.
Made with recycled fabric The outer tent fabric is made from 100% recycled polyester. Waste plastic is turned into new polyester fibres, helping to save raw materials such as crude oil and reducing overall waste.
High UV protection With a UV protection factor of 100+, the tent fabric helps prevent the outer tent from becoming brittle or cracked under strong sun. This improves durability, keeps the tent from heating up too quickly and supports a more comfortable climate inside.
Smart windows and doors Two entrances and two wide half-moon mesh windows provide plenty of light and fresh air. Both doors and windows can be closed weather-tight with zips from the inside – no need to step out into the rain to shut the tent.
View of the stars The mesh dome in the roof not only keeps the air flowing at night, it also gives you an unobstructed view of the starry sky. In bad weather, a waterproof cover can be fitted over the top from outside to keep out rain and wind.
Thoughtful details Organizer pockets, a ceiling hook for a lamp and a weather-protected cable entry all add comfort to everyday camping life. A robust carry bag makes transport easy and keeps the tent clean and dust-free in storage.
