Nylon flysheet The ripstop nylon flysheet is lighter than polyester and, thanks to its special construction, is particularly tear-resistant. With a 3,000 mm water column it is fully waterproof, and an additional silicone coating significantly improves UV resistance.
Ultra lightweight Made from high-quality, lightweight materials such as aluminium and nylon, combined with a clever design and optimised tent cut, Oteren weighs just 3.1 kg – ideal when every gram counts.
Generous space The skandika Oteren is a tunnel-style trekking tent with a side entrance and a large vestibule for noticeably more comfort and space. The inner tent offers plenty of room for up to 3 people, while the generous vestibule provides ample storage space for trekking gear.
Comfortable inner climate Four weather-protected permanent ventilation openings and mosquito mesh on the cabin door ensure a pleasant climate inside the tent and plenty of fresh air, while keeping annoying insects out of the sleeping area.
Practical extras For high comfort, our trekking tents are equipped with organiser pockets and a hook for hanging a camping lantern. The colour-coded pole system makes pitching quicker and more intuitive. The inner cabin can also remain clipped in for faster pack-up and set-up.
Carry bag A robust bag keeps the tent clean during transport and storage. Thanks to its compact pack size and low weight, Oteren fits easily into most rucksacks, even on longer hikes.
