The compact Talica II (2-speed) reels with lightweight lever drag are designed for trolling fishing techniques using braid. An additional drag system is available to follow the best curve when using monofilament line. The Talica features incredible drag strength and provides perfect pulling power to tackle the biggest fish. The Talica has been designed for trolling fishing in exotic waters. Although made for braid, an additional drag system is provided to create the best line handling possible for fishing with monofilament lines. The winding force is 30% lighter thanks to the double InfinityDrive drag construction, while the reel width remains unchanged. By incorporating X-Protect technology, the reel's protection is guaranteed against any water ingress that could damage the interior of the reel. The S-COMPACT frame is lighter, smaller, and easier to handle than equivalent-sized reels. The Talica reel is a dream reel that fits perfectly in the hand. At low speed, you have unlimited power and torque to bring up big fish during the fight, while at high speed, you can quickly retrieve your bait. The carbon drag washers provide remarkable power and durability and can be adjusted instantly using the easy-access lever, while the 7 closed A-RB bearings, brass gearing, and aluminium spool ensure operation as smooth as you would expect from a premium reel Shimano
