The Brenta Down Jacket from Salewa is an exceptionally lightweight, windproof, and waterproof hooded jacket. The Brenta is so cozy with 550-fill-power 80/20 down that once you put it on, you won't want to take it off. The lightweight yet durable matte nylon shell has a DWR (durable water repellent) finish for added protection. This jacket can be worn on its own as a warm outer layer or as an insulating mid-layer under a waterproof jacket, for example. It also easily packs into a backpack. The insulated, fitted, integrated collar provides maximum protection, while ergonomic gusseted sleeves and shoulders ensure a secure fit. The full-length front zipper has a windproof flap, and elastic binding at the cuffs, hem, and hood helps keep out the cold and the warmth. This style also features two zippered hand pockets or small essentials.
