Lightweight, packable and warm, this self-inflating mattress offers the ultimate support for three-season trekking and backpacking.
Sold and shipped by Outdoor Food
The Therm-a-Rest ProLite Apex Heat Wave in the Regular Wide version is the ultimate choice for those seeking a balance between weight, packability, and sleeping comfort. Featuring the unique StrataCore construction, this mat provides impressive support without adding unnecessary bulk to your pack. Whether you are on a multi-day trek or staying at a base camp, this pad ensures you wake up refreshed and ready for your next challenge. Ease of use is key: simply unroll the mat, open the valve, and watch the foam core automatically fill with air.
The design is specifically tailored for adventurers who want to stay outdoors even in cooler conditions. With a thickness of 5 cm, it effortlessly smooths out uneven terrain, while the extra width of the RW version offers more freedom of movement throughout the night. The rugged materials are built to withstand intensive use, allowing you to rely on the insulation of your gear on any surface.
Technically, the ProLite Apex stands out with its StrataCore technology, which uses a continuous layer of thermal foam nestled between alternating ridges of air and foam. This results in an R-value of 3.8, making it ideal for three-season use (spring, summer, and autumn). The innovative WingLock valve provides three times the airflow of traditional valves, speeding up inflation and making deflation and packing significantly easier at the end of your trip.
