The Vango Shangri-La Lux 16 Grande sets a new benchmark for comfort during all your overnight stays away from home. With an impressive thickness of 16 centimeters, this sleeping mat offers support that was previously unthinkable in a mobile setting. Whether you are staying in a tent or spending the night in a camper, the soft, elastic top fabric molds accurately to the contours of your body. This effectively reduces pressure points, ensuring you wake up fresh and rested for a new day of activities every morning. The generous dimensions of the Grande version also provide extra freedom of movement, so you never feel restricted in your sleep.
User-friendliness is central to the design of this model. Thanks to the advanced Dreamlock construction, the mat is not only more stable but also lighter and more compact to carry than comparable models of this thickness. The vertical walls ensure that the entire surface can be used as a sleeping area, mimicking the comfort of a real bed. This makes the mat an ideal choice for those who do not want to compromise on their night's sleep, regardless of the location. The robust design withstands intensive use, while the soft feel of the fabric is maintained for a pleasant experience.
Technically, the Shangri-La Lux 16 stands out due to its innovative, integrated rechargeable pump. This powerful pump ensures that the mat is fully inflated within just sixty seconds, without the need for manual effort or an external power source on-site. Upon departure, the pump also actively sucks the air out of the mattress, which significantly facilitates rolling up and packing into the included carrying bag. This saves time and effort, leaving you with more room to enjoy your stay.
The mat is manufactured with high-quality TPU lamination, resulting in a strong construction that weighs less than traditional PVC variants. With an R-value of 12.5, the mat offers excellent insulation against the cold ground, which is essential for a good night's sleep in various weather conditions throughout the year. The combination of the Cyclone valve and modern weaving techniques creates a reliable product that is easy to keep clean. Whether you are going away for a weekend or traveling for a longer period, this sleeping mat provides the stability and warmth needed for restorative sleep.
