Nylon flysheet The ripstop nylon flysheet is lighter than polyester and, thanks to its special construction, is particularly tear-resistant. With a 3,000 mm water column it is fully waterproof, and an additional silicone coating significantly improves UV resistance.
Ultra lightweight Made from high-quality, lightweight materials such as aluminium and nylon, combined with a clever design and optimised tent cut, Vatn weighs just 2.1 kg – ideal when every gram counts.
Generous space The skandika Vatn is a trekking tent with a weight- and space-optimised dome construction. The flysheet creates a weather-protected area in front of the two opposite entrance doors, providing plenty of storage space. The tent can be entered from both sides.
Comfortable inner climate The inner tent is made entirely from breathable mesh with a robust floor and offers plenty of room for 2 people. Two ventilation openings in the outer tent help maintain a pleasant climate inside and ensure good airflow, while the mesh keeps annoying insects out of the sleeping area.
Practical extras Our trekking tents are equipped for a high level of comfort. Organiser pockets keep small essentials close to hand and a hook is ideal for hanging a camping light. The colour-coded pole system makes pitching quicker and more intuitive.
