The Ortles Screw is a sturdy screwgate carabiner designed to offer lightweight versatility. As a personal locking carabiner, it is perfect for connecting anchors or attaching to a belay station. Its impeccable design features a rounded Keylock nose that prevents snagging and a large finger opening providing better handling for receiving a bowline knot or during clipping and unclipping. The aluminium construction with an optimised shape ensures ideal material usage, allowing for a weight-saving and resource-efficient design while maintaining the highest safety standards. Additionally, the large inner rope contact surface offers increased durability. It also has an extra hole in the nose to remove ice, snow, or dirt.
