Redefine the long-range reel market with cutting-edge Shimano technology and sleek design in the Ultegra XTE/XSE.
Sold and shipped by Sport & Go EU
The Ultegra XTE and XSE are based on Shimano 's best-selling long-range reel models and are set to redefine the mid-priced long-range reel market. Containing many of Shimano 's cutting-edge long cast technologies in sleek monochrome bodies, these reels exceed expectations and are destined to become bestsellers throughout Europe.Only Shimano features super-slow oscillation, which is reason enough for you to buy the Ultegra XTE and XSE. But when you consider all the autres technologies contained in these long-distance superstars, they're impossible to ignore. These reels will not only let you cast farther, they'll also let you fish longer, with a design to match whatever rod you pair them with. If you're a carp angler who prefers dark, stealthy colors, go for the XTE. If you're a surfcasting angler or prefer light colors, the 'silver' XSE will be ideal. Whatever you choose, you can be sure you've made an excellent decision.Hidden in the Ultegra's lightweight, rigid, CI4+ body is a selection of the most advanced technology from Shimano. HAGANE Gear and X-SHIP combine with Infinity Drive and Silent Drive to deliver amazing smoothness and light rotation. But don't be fooled. Put the Ultegra under pressure and it will produce all the power you need, and more. And if the internal engineering is a work of art, it's for casting performance that you'll buy this reel.Super Slow 5 oscillation generates a surprisingly fluid line lay that reduces friction and increases casting potential. Butautres features also contribute. The Rigid Cast reduces spool deflection on release when casting and the Parallel Body sends the line at the perfect angle to the premier ring. And as the line passes over the lip of the AR-C aluminium spool, it wraps around to reduce friction. The result is unprecedented line output smoothness at such an affordable price.
