MIPS PROTECTION SYSTEM
Utilizing the MIPS-C2® Rational Impact Management System, the MET Veleno Mips is able to slide relatively to the head in the event of an impact, redirecting harmful rotational forces. MIPS is a brain protection system designed to add protection to conventional helmet construction in certain types of impacts. The MIPS Brain Protection System (BPS) is attached to the inside of the helmet, between the comfort foams and the EPS.
REMOVABLE VISOR
The visor is minimal and removable thanks to its invisible anchor points that ensure a sleek and stylish design in both modes. Tarmac or trails? Like a bike from gravel, the Veleno has no boundaries and its versatility is its main argument.
VENTILATION
The Veleno Mips has 26 vents and an advanced system of internal air channels to maximize ventilation by pushing hot air out of the helmet and letting cool air in, thus providing optimal comfort. The Veleno also has two ports for storing sunglasses while resting or climbing.
COMFORT
In addition to its ventilation performance, Veleno Mips is exceptionally comfortable. The 360° headband of the MET Safe-T Upsilon retention system ensures that there are no pressure points on the skull. Its internal shape accommodates all head shapes, round or more oval.
VERSATILITY
The design reflects the helmet's ability to adapt to various uses and environments. Wide-open, extended coverage, removable visor, and full EPS polycarbonate wrap make it durable in all conditions.
