We draw on over 30 years of experience when developing our children's helmets. The new MET Hooray Mips is safer, more comfortable and has many features specific to young children that will make their parents' lives easier while protecting them during their first bike rides.
The shell of the MET Hooray Mips has a flat back designed to make it more comfortable when using a child seat. It covers the two most sensitive areas of the brain: the back of the head and the temples. The internal shape uses a system of air channels to facilitate air flow, as well as our unique MET Bimbi Secure Technology that ensures there will be no point pressure on the fontanel.
Thanks to the new MET Safe-T Bimbo retention system, the helmet will adapt to the growth of your child's head. The retention system is also easily adjustable due to the rubber lining of the adjustment wheel. The 360° headband ensures a stable and secure fit. The ratchet closure of the chinstrap makes this operation easier and safer, while avoiding any pinching of the skin.
At MET we take the safety of children very seriously. All production batches ofHooray Mips are strictly tested in our laboratory to leave nothing to chance. Featuring the MET Rear LED light, the Hooray offers up to 60 hours of extra visibility to spot a child in all conditions. To complement this safety feature, the MIPS-C2® Rational Impact Management System is designed to add safety to the helmet construction standards in the event of certain impacts.
