TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

There is a stretchy mesh storage pocket on the outside.

Dimensions

When unfolded, the cooler's dimensions are:

Height: 38 cm | Length: 38 cm | Width: 32 cm

Internal dimensions: Height : 34 cm | Length: 34 cm | Width: 30 cm

When folded, the cooler becomes more compact and measures:

Height : 19 cm | Length: 34 cm | Width: 34 cm

WATERPROOFING

This ice box is not waterproof.

It’s normal for moisture or water inside the cooler (through condensation, for example) to seep through seams. This prevents water or unwanted water from pooling inside the cooler.

Robustness

We have used reinforced 600 denier* polyester fabric (PES) for the bottom of the cooler to increase the product's robustness outdoors and in the mountains.

*Denier tells you the weight of a yarn in grams per unit length of 9 metres; so, for a 600-denier fabric, this means it weighs 600 grams for 9 metres.

Directions for use

Using tests, conducted according to the EN 12546-2 standard, we measured the cooler's capacity to keep food cool for 14 hours with ice packs (1.8 kg).

To improve the thermal properties of your cooler, we recommend:

- using ice packs,

- leaving your cooler in the shade,

- opening it only when necessary and then closing it quickly.

FOLDING

By folding, you can reduce the volume of the cooler to save space when storing it. Here are our tips for correct folding:

- close the zip of your cooler,

- press the top down to compress it as much as possible,

- secure by putting the elastic, located on the side, around the cooler to keep it as flat as possible.

TESTS AND WARRANTY

Test product

The European standard EN 12546-2 certifies the performance of the cool bag without ice packs. To obtain this standard, tests are carried out by an external laboratory. These tests consist of placing water at a temperature of 5°C into the cooler, which itself is placed in 32°C. The point is to then measure the time the water takes to reach a temperature of 15°C. The measured time for this cooler was 9 hours.
