WATERPROOFING
The inside of the backpack is waterproof, so you no longer need to worry about food and drink leaking. Just like the condensation that is generated by ice packs, the water stays at the bottom of the bag.
To make cleaning easier, the waterproof section of the main compartment is white and can be removed thanks to an outer zip.

Isothermal
To insulate the main compartment, we use a 20mm-thick polyurethane (PU) foam.
We have laboratory tested this cooler according to the EN 12546-2 standard, at an ambient temperature of 32°C, without ice packs and half full. It took 11 hours to go from 5°C (food temperature straight from the fridge) to 15°C.
By adding 1.2 kg of ice, the time to go from 5°C to 15°C increased to 17 hours in the same conditions.

Directions for use
To keep your food cold for longer, you can add ice packs to your bag.
When packing your bag, we recommend that you put the food that needs to stay cold together at the bottom of the bag.
Finally, to increase the thermal performance of your cooler bag, we recommend that you only open it when you need and close it quickly.

How is the bag's volume measured?
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standard method: we fill the main compartment, as well as each pocket, with little balls. Then, we empty these balls into a graduated container, which gives the equivalent volume in litres.
