Anatomic design:

The main component is stretchy and adapts for a perfect fit around your calves. The elasticated strap also makes them easier to put on.

Robustness:

The main component was chosen for its resistance to friction between the calves and the saddle. For even more robustness, the zip was widened and specially designed to withstand outdoor conditions (sand, dust, etc.).

Compatibility:

Supple, slim and robust, the Half Chaps 500 team perfectly with the Jodhpur Boots 500 or the Lace-Up Paddock Boots for a harmonious rider style. The insert on the front and the curved shape mean that the half chaps fit snugly with the boots so that riders can wear the right kit for training and competitions.

Our sizing:

Thanks to the stretchy component and elasticated side strap, the Adult Half Chaps 500 can fit many different bodies. These half chaps are available in two leg lengths and several calf sizes.

How to take your measurements:

Take your measurements while barefoot. Sit with your knees at a 90° angle and take the following measurements: Step 1 (see photo): measure your calf at three points to find the widest point. Step 2 (see photo): measure the length between the floor and the bend behind your knee. Finally, compare your measurements to the size guide to find the perfect size!

Choosing your size:

This model is meant to be very fitted, so it may be somewhat difficult to get on the first few times. We suggest choosing a fitted size to make sure they stay in place during use. When choosing the leg length based on the size guide, it is important to know that half chaps tend to sit down a few millimetres on the leg for the most comfortable use.

Half chaps with a simple yet elegant style! The seams are designed to resemble those on boots. The fastening tab and shiny zip add chic and modern finishing touches.

Care advice:

No need to grab your glycerine soap, leather balm or wax: coated microfibre is an easy-care fabric that lets you ride your horse or pony in any weather conditions. Just give it a brush to knock off any mud or dirt then wipe with a damp sponge to get your half chaps looking spic and span!
