TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Skill level: Advanced/professional

Thanks to the different technologies in the Adidas Multiweight CTRL 3.2, you can experience maximum control with the manoeuvrability and low weight that makes this a racket unlike any other. It was specifically designed for demanding players.

Playing style: Control

The round shape creates a larger sweet spot so you can hit faster, more precise shots to give you more control on defence.

Balance: Medium

This is the racket balance point, measured in millimetres from the bottom of the racket handle.

The larger the number (head-heavy balance), the more power and stability you'll get from the racket and the heavier it will feel (even if it's not a heavy racket). However, you'll have to give up some manoeuvrability. The smaller the number (grip biased or handle heavy), the easier the racket will be to handle, but the less power and stability you'll get.

Weight: 345-360 g

Just like the balance point, the weight impacts a racket's swingweight and therefore its manoeuvrability, stability and ability to transfer energy to the ball (power). The heavier the racket, the more power you'll get, but the harder it will be to handle. Conversely, the lighter the racket, the easier it will be to handle, but the less powerful it will be.

External material: Aluminised carbon 18K

This is a responsive, high-performance material that provides excellent energy return and unrivalled feel with the perfect balance of power and comfort.

Internal material: EVA High Memory

This foam has excellent vibration dampening and rapid recovery capacities for better ball rebound.

Power Embossed Ridge

An outer ridge along the frame that reinforces the frame rigidity and increases power for a more compact feel upon impact.

Dual Exoskeleton technology

Carbon-lined reinforcements on the frame and core to maximise the racket's rigidity and resistance to twisting for improved consistency with every hit and more power when you go on the attack.

Spin Blade technology

Rough 3D texture integrated in the racket mould for improved ball grip and maximum spin.

Smart Holes Curve technology

Holes laid out in a curve to optimise spin on impact.

Structural Reinforcement technology

Reinforcements along the outer edge of the frame to increase rigidity and power.

Weight & Balance technology

This technology involves a system of six removable screws on the racket bridge. You can add or remove screws to raise or lower the weight.

If you leave the screws in, the balance of your Metalbone racket will be at the mid- to lower end of the racket, giving you better control. If you remove the screws, you'll lower the weight for a higher balance (up to 1.5 cm) to give you an offensive edge.
