Skill level: Advanced
Thanks to the different technologies in this racket, you can experience excellent control with the manoeuvrability and low weight that makes this a racket unlike any other. It was specifically designed for demanding players.
Playing style: Control
If you're a player who wants to feel in control, the Adidas Adipower Light 3.2 has a round shape with a larger sweet spot that will let you hit faster, more precise shots to give you more control on defence.
This is the racket balance point, measured in millimetres from the bottom of the racket handle.
The larger the number (head-heavy balance), the more power and stability you'll get from the racket and the heavier it will feel (even if it's not a heavy racket). However, you'll have to give up some manoeuvrability. The smaller the number (grip biased or handle heavy), the easier the racket will be to handle, but the less power and stability you'll get.
Head size: 460 cm²
This is the surface area of the racket head size measured in squared centimetres. It has an impact on the racket's forgiveness and power. The larger the head size, the more powerful and forgiving the racket is. The downside is less control. Conversely, the smaller the racket's head size, the greater the feeling of control, but the less powerful and forgiving it will be.
Weight: 345-360 g
Just like the balance point, the weight impacts a racket's swingweight and therefore its manoeuvrability, stability and ability to transfer energy to the ball (power). The heavier the racket, the more power you'll get, but the harder it will be to handle. Conversely, the lighter the racket, the easier it will be to handle, but the less powerful it will be.
External material: 24K aluminised carbon
This is a responsive, high-performance material that provides excellent energy return and unrivalled feel with the perfect balance of power and comfort.
Internal material: EVA Soft Energy
This foam has an improved density that offers extraordinary rebound without sacrificing power.
Structural Reinforcement technology
Reinforcements along the outer edge of the frame to increase rigidity and power.
Dual Exoskeleton technology
Carbon-lined reinforcements on the frame and core to maximise the racket's rigidity and resistance to twisting for improved consistency with every hit and more power when you go on the attack.
Power Embossed Ridge
An outer ridge along the frame that reinforces the frame rigidity and increases power for a more compact feel upon impact.
Smart Holes Curve technology
Holes laid out in a curve to optimise spin on impact.
Spin Blade technology
Rough 3D texture integrated in the racket mould for improved ball grip and maximum spin.
3M tape protector
Anti-shock protection on the frame for extreme durability.
