Why is this product being recalled?

The DECATHLON Cycle teams have identified a defect in the motor software of certain bikes, which may cause random backward movement of the pedals during use. This presents a potential safety risk. As a precaution, DECATHLON does not want to take any risks with user safety.

What to do?

Please stop using the bike immediately and check if your bike is affected by completing the verification process at the link below:

You will be asked to enter your bike's APIC number and guided through the steps.

If your bike is affected, please book an appointment at your nearest DECATHLON workshop. Our technicians will update your bike’s software to correct the defect.

All costs for this repair will be covered by DECATHLON.

Why is this product being recalled?

Despite our rigorous quality control procedures, we have identified that this product does not meet our safety performance standards. An anomaly has been found that may prevent the probe from deploying fully, which could make it difficult to use during a victim search.

As this is life-safety equipment for mountain use, DECATHLON is unwilling to take any risks.

What to do?

We ask that you stop using this probe immediately and return it to your nearest DECATHLON store.

Upon return, you will receive a full refund at the original purchase value.

Why is this product being recalled?

The strap running in front of the ear may slide backward, which could affect the stability and optimal hold of the helmet on the head during normal use.

This creates a risk for the user because head protection is no longer fully guaranteed in the event of a fall or impact.

We ask that you stop using this product immediately and return it to your nearest DECATHLON store.
