Why is it safer?
With its MIPS® technology, Rivale combines exceptional value with the benefit of a brain protection system against rotational forces. The MIPS brain protection system is designed to add at least 10% more safety on certain types of impacts compared to standard helmet construction. The Mips Brain Protection System (BPS) is attached to the inside of the helmet, between the foams and the EPS.
Why is it more comfortable? The all-new MET Rivale Mips is an evolution of the external design and a revolution of the internal shape. The fit is unprecedented and the helmet is more stable on the head with its new Safe-T Upsilon retention system. The 360° headband ensures there are no pressure points on the skull. The vertical adjustment is easy and permet a perfect fit.
Why is it more effective?
The back of the new MET Rivale Mips has the uniqueness of the MET style, especially thanks to the NACA venting that works in conjunction with a lowered profile and a tube-shaped profile. The front of the helmet is designed to be wider and the vents longer to improve ventilation and can also be used to store sunglasses. A combination that guarantees uninterrupted fun on the bike.
