Product Description
The MET Parachute MCR is a convertible full-face helmet designed for enduro,
all-mountain and e-MTB riding. Engineered to be truly two helmets in one, it
instantly converts from full-face protection to an open-face trail helmet
using MET’s revolutionary Magnetic Chinbar Release system.
MCR (Magnetic Chinbar Release) was developed in partnership with Fidlock and
allows fast, secure conversion without compromising safety. In full-face
mode, the Parachute MCR delivers aggressive styling and all-round protection.
In open-face mode, it reflects the lightweight comfort and ventilation of
MET’s trail helmets.
Safety is taken to the highest level with the integrated MIPS® brain
protection system and full compliance with ASTM 1952-15 / 2032-15 standards
for both the shell and chinbar. The chinbar exceeds ASTM deflection limits by
40–50%, delivering an optimal balance of stiffness and energy absorption.
A flexible injected visor further helps reduce neck rotation in the event of
a crash.
The BOA® FS1 fit system provides precise micro-adjustment, with both forward
and backward tuning as well as three vertical positions. Combined with a
360° head belt, this ensures a secure, pressure-free fit for long rides.
Ventilation is a hallmark of MET design. With 21 vents, internal air
channelling and a breathable chinbar, the Parachute MCR maintains excellent
airflow at both low and high speeds.
