The Vango Scafell 300 is a three-person tunnel tent built around practicality rather than gimmicks. Two identical PowerLite 7001-T6 aluminium poles thread through continuous sleeves, which means you're not matching colour codes or working out which pole goes where when you're tired at the end of a long walk. The all-in-one pitching system keeps the inner clipped to the flysheet, so everything goes up together in about ten minutes once you've done it a couple of times. You can pitch just the flysheet if you need a quick weather shelter without the inner, which works well during lunch stops or when rain's hammering down and you want to keep the inner dry. The Gothic arch pole design peaks at the centre rather than forming a smooth curve, giving you proper standing height where it counts and shedding rain more effectively than standard tunnel curves. TBS II tension bands create a triangulated brace inside that counters sideways flex when wind picks up, working alongside the pole structure to keep things stable.
