The softshell component is a high-tech fabric combining 3 materials: a micro-porous, breathable, windproof membrane laminated between the outer water repellent fabric and the inner warm and comfortable fleece lining. The properties of this high-tech material combine warmth, breathability, lightness, protection and freedom of movement thanks to the warm stretch component.

Wind makes you feel much colder.

Thus for an outside temperature of 0°, a 20 kph wind chill will produce a perceived temperature of -10°.

"Windproof" components prevent the discomfort caused by this "freezing effect". By forming a barrier against the wind they are very effective at reducing heat loss.

Not to be confused with waterproofing!

This property is achieved by applying a water repellent treatment to the fabric. This process prevents water adhering to the fabric surface, thereby limiting its capacity to absorb water. If you add movement, water can now slide off the fabric. This is what we mean by water repellent. When a fabric is water repellent, water does not soak into it, and the jacket remains light, does not retain dampness and dries faster.

Thin wadding (60 g/m²) has been added to the forearms for greater gun carrying comfort.

For those who prefer to carry their gun over the shoulder, we have added an extra layer of 8 mm polyurethane foam padding.
