TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Design & style

This stud girth has been designed to match the entire 900 jumping range. It is elegant and stylish, and has been carefully crafted to meet horses' needs during exercise. This product has several subtle details that make it extra special, from the top-quality topstitching to the metal logo.

Sizing

This model is available in sizes 115 to 145 cm. In size 115 cm (most suitable for ponies) we have made the stud guard narrower so that it won't get in the way of the elbows.

Recommendations for use

This stud girth is perfect for showjumping training sessions and competitions. It will protect your horse's belly from impacts with horseshoes or hooves. However, we recommend using a normal girth strap for dressage because this will be more comfortable for your horse.

Care advice

To keep your stud girth in good condition, we recommend cleaning it regularly with a damp sponge, some glycerine soap and lukewarm water. You can then hydrate your leather with grease applied using a household or special leather cloth. If your leather items are rough and dry, you can also treat them with leather milk to deeply moisturise the leather.

Our adjustment tips

After purchase, we recommend checking that the shape of the girth suits your horse. It just takes a few simple steps to efficiently check the fit. First, to properly adjust the girth, you need to check the position of the saddle. It should be placed behind the shoulder. Once the saddle is placed correctly, you can check that the forelimbs are free to move by placing a flat hand between your girth and the back of the horse's elbows.
