To get the best possible image, you must use your spotting scope with a tripod. The more you zoom in, the more shaking you produce, which will stop you from clearly seeing the animal or landscape.

The 3/8" platform screw is compatible with all cameras and spotting scope devices. Screw the platform onto your device and you can then attach and detach it from your tripod in one click.

The spotting scope/camera tripod can be used for taking macro images of flowers or insects. To do this, remove the central rod from the tripod by pressing the grey button next to the hook. Turn the rod over and insert it from below, making sure that the male/female groove slots into place. Press the grey button so that the rod is inserted. And you're ready to go.



The hook at the end of this rod allows you to weight the tripod for added stability.
