Probe diameter and tip
The diameter of the cone-shaped tip is larger than that of the probe. This makes a larger hole in order to easily penetrate the probe into the snow piled up by an avalanche.
The probe consists of 7 sections and has been designed with a 12.5 mm diameter to be stronger when probing in hard snow.

Quick unfolding
In a single step, the probe unfolds and the sections fit into each other quickly. The cable and automatic blocking system makes deployment easier thanks to the supporting shaft inside the last section.

Grip
A long foam sleeve is stuck on the probes last section to make it easier to grip it with gloves.
A synthetic handle is sewn on the cable for deploying the probe quickly.

Marking
For effective probing and to find out the depth of the victim, the sections have a marking every 5 cm with a more visible marking every 50 cm.

MAXIMUM WASH TEMPERATURE 95°C. NORMAL TREATMENT.
