This sports bra provides great comfort and optimal bust protection for practising all medium-impact activities such as dance, fitness, or cardio training.
What is it about the moderate-support zipped sports bra that gives you so much freedom of movement?
When you work out, you move your entire body, often including your arms. We've added elastane to this sports bra to allow for all your movements and let you work out comfortably. This sports bra is stretchier so you never need to worry about it moving with you.

Stay dry, even while you sweat! But how does the medium-support zipped sports bra do all that?
During sport, your breasts, which are fragile and supported almost entirely by the skin, are subjected to much greater stress than in everyday life. No matter your cup size or age, they are subject to movements and bouncing that can create a force of up to five times their weight. A sports bra provides the support and comfort you need while exercising. It protects them from impact, pain and premature sagging.
Why does the medium-support zipped sports bra have a zip?
By adding a zip to the front of this sports bra, we wanted to make your life easier with a bra that's easy to put on and remove. It is self-locking to prevent it from opening during use. Simply zip up and press the slider to lock the zip. We've added a fabric insert at the top of the closure to prevent the tab from rubbing against your skin.
Why is it essential to protect your breasts during sport?
Did you know that your breasts are supported almost entirely by skin? This makes them even more vulnerable during exercise, where impacts can make them feel up to five times heavier depending on the intensity of the exercise. Wearing a sports bra provides essential support, comfort, and protection, thus preventing impacts, pain, and premature sagging.
Why are there three levels of support?
When you exercise, your breasts are put through stresses and strains that stretch the skin and ligaments. If you aren't wearing any support, you're more likely to suffer from pain or premature sagging. But too much support can also cause long-term damage. So it is essential to adapt the level of support to your cup size and the intensity of your activity. The aim is to protect your bust without changing natural breast movement.
What levels of support do Decathlon sports bras offer?
Our bras are put through a lab test that assesses the level of bust support. This test measures the reduction in the acceleration of breast movements during sport. Our bras are then assessed and categorised as follows: 1 for light support, 3 for medium support and 5 for high support.
How do you know which level of support you need for each sport?
Your choice of support will vary depending on your sport. You can choose between 3 levels:
- Level 1: light support for activities that cause gentle breast movement (Pilates, stretching, strength training, etc.); - Level 3: medium support for activities that cause a moderate level of bounce (dancing, fitness, cardio training, etc.);
- Level 5: high support for activities involving intensive movements (step aerobics, running, trampolining, etc.).

How do you know which is the right size?
It's essential to choose the right size of sports bra to keep your breasts supported and comfortable. To do so, use a tape measure and follow these steps:
- Stand in front of a mirror;
- Place the tape measure horizontally against your upper back, roughly level with the bottom of your shoulder blades;
- Bring the tape measure across the fullest part of your bust;
- Take the measurement without pulling it tight;

How does Decathlon design its bras?

How to care for your medium-support zipped sports bra
This sports bra is designed for intensive sports use and can therefore be washed very often. Our only tip is not to exceed a washing temperature of 30°C and to use our laundry bag, sold separately (ref. 8505236).

TESTS AND WARRANTY
Test product
Support: the support is tested and approved by testers in the Decathlon laboratory using breast displacement measurements. Each size is tested individually.
Perspiration wicking:the perspiration wicking test is carried out on each fabric, in the laboratory, to check that the fabric absorbs, transfers moisture from the inside to the outside of the fabric and wicks it away.
Washing: washing and drying tests guarantee the product withstands the test of time (shape and colour).

This product has been tested by several testers at the Decathlon laboratory to check its levels of support. Then a panel of female testers tried it out during an indoor weight training session (use test protocol) to confirm its ease and comfort during sporting activities. They then continued the long-term test for 6 months to put the product through its paces.
