TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

What is "Tubeless Ready"?

A tubeless ready tyre lets you ride without an inner tube, or tubeless. The beads are specific to ensure watertightness and good support on the rim. Just like tubeless ready rims, sidewalls on a tubeless ready tyre are not watertight, that's why you need to add some tyre sealant during assembly. The sealant has a double action, since it not only makes the tyre watertight, but also helps prevent punctures.

To limit punctures, assembly without an inner tube is recommended!

If you're mounting this tyre on a tubeless ready wheel, we strongly recommend mounting without an inner tube since tubeless ready tyres are designed to be used with a sealant. This means the tyre will have dual protection: the "Reinforced+" tread blocks perforations, and the preventative liquid fills the little holes.

And assembly is lighter and more comfy!

Equipment needed for Tubeless Ready assembly.

- A tubeless valve

- A tubeless rim strip

- Tyre sealant

- A tubeless ready compatible rim

- A foot pump or compressor

How to inflate your tyre correctly

Inflate your tyre carefully. The recommended pressure is indicated on the tyre sidewall and in the product file.

Ensure your tyre pressure is correct before each ride.

Tip from the pros

When inflating your tyre, make sure you inflate it to the suitable pressure for the terrain you will be riding on and, above all, the weather conditions you will be riding in.

When riding in rainy weather, lower the tyre pressure to increase the tyre's traction.

On the other hand, when riding in dry weather, you can increase the pressure for better performance.

How to measure tyre wear

To measure the wear on your tyres and to know when they need replacing, you need to inspect the tread. Signs of wear may include:

- the tyre tread beginning to fray

- a series of micro cracks

- flattening of the tread

- the carcass becoming visible.

In all these cases the tyre is worn and needs replacing.

Tips for storage and maintenance

The flex bead makes it easy to fold the tyre without damaging it.For storage, choose a place without significant variations in temperature.
