Advice for washing the rope
Fill a basin or the bottom of your bath with warm water. If your rope is very dirty, use a mild neutral soap, such as household soap. Then put the rope in the water, and use the brush along the whole length and back. Rinse well.If your rope is particularly dusty, feel free to repeat this step.

Dry it in the open air and in the shade, and keep it away from any heat source.
Advice for storing the rope
Rope should be stored away from light, moisture, chemicals and heat. Be careful not to leave it inside a car in the middle of summer for example.
