Graphene
Vittoria gravel tyres use a unique Graphene compound.Graphene on the central tread minimizes rolling resistance and perforations to prolong the tyre's lifespan. The shoulder features two distinct Graphene compounds. The bottom compound provides a stable base for cornering loads and protection against anything that could slice your tyre. The surface compound gives you complete confidence while corning, both on dry and wet terrains.
Inflating your tyre
Carefully inflate your tyre. The recommended pressure is indicated on the tyre's sidewall and on the product description.
Check that your tyres are aired up to a proper pressure before every ride.
Measuring tyre wear
To measure wear on your road tyres and know when they need changing, you need to pay special attention to the tread. Signs of wear are:
- the tread starts to fray,
- small cracks appear on the tyre,
- the tread starts looking flat,
- the casing is visible.
Tyres wear in many different ways and often require replacement.

The tools required when mounting a Tubeless Ready tyre:
- Tubeless valve
- Tubeless rim tape
- Sealant
- A tubeless ready compatible rim
- A foot pump or air compressor
Removing a tyre
To remove the tyre, deflate the tube until it stops releasing air.
You can then remove the tyre from the rim with a tyre lever.
Tips from a Pro
Be sure to inflate your tyre to the right pressure for the terrain and, most importantly, the weather.
In rainy weather, decrease the tyre pressure to increase your traction.
Similarly, you can increase your tyre pressure in dry weather.
Tubeless TNT: extreme puncture resistance!
Vittoria Gravel tyres feature a puncture-proof layer on the casing, underneath the tread. It is made from nylon, a lightweight yet resistant material. The Tubeless TNT versions have two layers of nylon on the tyre's sidewalls. They protect the sides from getting nicked or perforated by rocks and thorns. This TNT design makes the tyre very sturdy and durable, which is perfect for riding with or without a tube.
