Description
The Alpha LTE is a system which uses the LTE cellular network, as well as VHF technology in a transparent way for users.
It's been designed for dog owners who already use Garmin products, offering a solution compatible with their current set-up, and also for new customers who may have a smaller budget and who want to track their dogs via a smartphone app.

Compatibility
Use the Alpha app on your compatible smartphone to track your dog. You can also use the app to navigate and to mark waypoints, trails, habitats and observation spots thanks to the integrated maps.
GARMIN ECOSYSTEM
Pair your phone with a selection of Garmin portable devices and dog tracking collars (sold separately), and set off for great adventures with a dual LTE and VHF tracking system. The intelligent communication technology automatically switches between LTE and VHF tracking to give you the best signal available on your Garmin device.

Track the exact position of your dog thanks to the GNSS multi-band technology which uses several satellite systems to improve the reception capacities in challenging environments.
