Excellent bag; well thought out and constructed. The three straps on the front make it easy to adjust to get a good fit. The back is nicely divided into 4 parts including the inner/inner zipped pocket. The magnetic holder for the drinking tube is really useful. The reservoir is of a good quality and two litres is plenty. My one change would be to have separate side pockets rather than them being joined to the main outside pocket. Bought for a 100 miler but is light enough to become my every run phone holder. Love it :)
This bag fits well and just right for taking a small amount of kit for day hikes
This is a great, comfy pack with handy pockets, flexible hydration options and plenty of storage space, easily comparable to far more expensive options from the big brands and vastly improved over older decathlon running bags. However, the size guide is miles off. I'm 175cm and ~70kg, and going off the belly button waist measurement I would be an XL. I thought that was already ridiculous and was initially going to order an M/L to be delivered but decided to go into shop to try on instead and I'm glad I did. The M/L fitted okay but only on the tightest strap adjustments, and I ended up buying an xs/s, which fits perfectly with adjustment either way. Either size down significantly if you're ordering online or ideally try it on before buying!
Its an amazing piece of kit! Loads of pockets and vents!
I didn't use it, as unfortunately its a bit small for me , as i am athletic build, with broad chest and shoulders. Otherwise its a great vest with loads of space and gear loading and caring options.
P.S. it looks great and build with a superb material! All around +100!
Again this bag, out performs the many other high end race bags I have purchased and is me go to, loads of space and pockets, fits well and stable 10/10
I bought this as an upgrade from the 10L black and red bag which I really got on well with and had used for years. You can tell that they've thought about how they can improve the overall design in this newer bag, lots of little touches like the elasticated back stops your tee moving up on a run, the magnet for the bladder pipe, genius, the extra side pockets at the sides, phone pocket is great too.
With some reviews they mentioned about it rubbing on your neck, thankfully I seem to just get away with it but can see how this could be an issue for some. Like all these bags, the water bladder is usually the weakest link, designed well but don't seem to last. I think what happens is the water bulges the bottom of the bag which means random areas rub and eventually become holes. However I've not come across a bladder that does last. Other then that amazing bag, well worth the money everything you need for long trail runs and hikes.
Perfect in every way, except one big issue. Exactly the right size, the best pack there is in regards to weight, pocket placement and materials except the back neck area comes up too high and rubs neck. Please make this exact pack but with a more scooped next area.
I’ve used this backpack a lot now! It’s capacity, thoughtful design and multiple pockets are perfect for carrying everything I need when trail running. I have a survival bag, blanket, iphone, power pack, raincoat and trousers, spare gloves and hat, first aid kit, a granola bar, a chocolate bar ... all fits with room to spare. By far it’s greatest achievement is the way it grips your torso but allows you to breath easily. Such a snug but comfortable fit. The three, height-adjustable chest straps are perfect. The ONLY negative is the bladder pack leaked (through the seam at the side) after just 3 x 1/2 marathons. I am hoping they will replace this for me, once the lockdown is relaxed? Aside for the bladder malfunction the pack itself is brilliant and would have received 5 Stars if not for this. I previously used 2 x generations of the smaller Kalenji/ Decathlon backpacks - neither half as good as this one.
I really like this hydration pack and I'll love to use it all the time but it has one fatal flaw.
The straps are comfortable; the adjusters are great; the bladder works perfectly if a bit fiddly to fit.
The adjustment works; the pockets are really handy; it doesn't bounce about and it isn't ugly.
But the neck at the rear is way too high and rubs against the back of my neck. So long as I'm wearing something with a collar that's OK for a while but it's impossible to run more than a few miles before constantly pulling it away from the back of my neck.
It's a real shame as otherwise I'd never use anything else.
Make that rear neck scoop lower by about 4inches and you're got a pack to beat all comers but as it is I had to buy something else.
