TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

WHAT ARE SWIM FINS FOR?

A fin is a piece of swimming training equipment to work the lower body.
Swim fins are ideal for swimming faster and for longer. You can simultaneously work on your heart rate and muscle building on the lower body (thighs, glutes and calves as well as core stability)

BLADE

SHORT FINS

- 33/34: 28 cm
- 35/36: 30 cm
- 37/38: 31 cm
- 39/40: 32 cm
- 41/42: 33 cm
- 43/44: 35 cm
- 45/46: 36 cm

The short blade ensures a good kicking frequency and helps maintain a higher heart rate than a long blade. Motion is very close to the "natural" movement.

STIFFNESS

SOFT BLADE: 100% silicone

Stiffness is characterised by the density of matter, so the more rigid a blade is, the greater muscular exertion will be, the softer a blade is, the more efficient and sweeping the kick will be. It is the resistance of the blade that will generate the type of exercise desired (cardiovascular or muscular exertion)

FOOT POCKET

FULL FOOT FINS

The foot pocket of a fin holds the foot in place when kicking (important for an efficient kick) so take the time to try on the fins before buying. It is important to check that the foot fits well in the foot pocket and the uncovered area (to prevent water from entering). It is important to choose the right size.
There are 2 types of foot pockets: full foot and open heel
