The Maxxis MINION DHR II tire is designed for aggressive riders and is built for downhill and enduro racing on dry to loose terrain. In this Wide Trail (WT) version, it's optimized for rims 30 to 35 mm wide. Completely redesigned, it offers even better performance in acceleration, cornering, and braking. The wide side knobs facilitate corner initiation, while the denser grooved center tread provides improved efficiency and control. This tire uses the 3C Maxx Terra compound for enhanced traction and lower rolling resistance. The Double Down casing consists of two layers of our lightweight 120 TPI casing material combined with a butyl sidewall insert to create a highly durable tire that offers more feedback and is lighter than downhill-specific tires.
