The Mendrisio is an all-terrain road bike. Named after the place where Eddy Merckx won his second world title in 1971, it is a very capable all-terrain road bike. At that time, Mendrisio was a battle between Merckx and his eternal rival Felice Gimondi. Gimondi attacked time and again, but couldn't shake off his younger rival. The race ended in a sprint, which Merckx won thanks to his explosive power.
That explosiveness is found in the Mendrisio. It's a fast, performance-oriented, and comfortable endurance bike, made for long rides.
