Buoyancy

The Boost 500 is designed for the slopes, powdery snow is not its strength.

TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Construction

Shell Fibre Tec: made with a composite core, edge to edge fibreglass shell for good pressure transmission.

Bindings

Tyrolia bindings, SLR 10 model, DIN adjustable from 3 to 10, Adjustable from 255 to 338 mm.

Durability

Structured and reinforced tip end and top sheet.

Preparation

Waxed and sharpened skis, ready to use. Edge sharpened to 89 °.

What is camber?

When placing a ski on the ground, its points of contact are found near the tip and tail, whereas the middle of the ski (under the bindings) is slightly raised (this is the camber). The longer and higher the camber, the greater the traction and more responsive the ski. The lower the camber, the more forgiving and manageable the ski.

What is a rocker?

On a rocker ski, the tip, and sometimes the tail, come off the ground much sooner than with a cambered ski. This moves the points of contact towards the centre of the ski. The surface of the ski in contact with the snow thereby reduced: you get more manageability and lift on soft snow. When taking corners, the edge length offers more traction on hard snow. The longer the rocker, the manageable the ski.

Track rocker

The small tip rocker facilitates the approach to turns.

Sidecut

125/72/108 in 170cm, radius = 12.5m

Versatility

90% carving slopes, 10% all types of snow.
