Return modality

Returns, Exchanges, or Cancellations General Shopping online is always different from holding something in a store, inspecting it, and then purchasing. If a product does not meet your expectations, you may always exchange or cancel it with us within 30 days. Returns are free of charge. Returns If you wish to exchange or return a product, please check that your package meets the following conditions. Keep in mind that we must be able to place the item back on the shelf, just like in a physical store, so that another customer can enjoy it. Upon cancellation, our returns department will ensure that the purchase amount is refunded to your account as quickly as possible, no later than 14 days. Return Conditions Notify us of the item as a return within 30 days of receipt and ensure the item reaches us within 14 days thereafter. The item, packaging, accessories, and booklets must be new, undamaged, and complete. Clothing, socks, and shoes must be unworn, and the original tags must still be attached. What if these conditions are not met? In most stores, returns are no longer possible under these circumstances, but we still want to assist you. Ideally, we would like to offer this product to another customer, but if there is damage, missing parts, or incomplete items, we may incur costs or, in extreme cases, have to sell the item to a third party. These costs will be passed on. Please note the following: Missing accessories: Depending on the number and value of missing accessories, approximately 15% of your purchase amount may be deducted. Returning outside the return period: We can no longer accept the item if the notification was late. Damaged packaging: The item is now difficult to sell as new. You would also not want to receive a product with damaged packaging. Sometimes we have extra packing materials to fix this, but sealed items often cannot be repackaged neatly. Costs may be reduced by 10%–25%. Minor scratches: The item is no longer sellable as new. You would not want to receive a scratched product. Approximately 25% may be deducted. Clearly visible damage: The item is no longer sellable. Approximately 50% may be deducted, or in extreme cases, no refund will be given. How to Return What should you do to return an item? Send us an email with details of the item you wish to return, preferably including a reason for quality control purposes and to help clarify our product descriptions. If you notify us within 30 days of receipt, you will receive a free return label. Pack the item securely to prevent damage during transport. Attach the return label we provide to the package. Drop off the package at the nearest service point of the carrier. You do not need to pay anything and will receive proof of dispatch. What Happens Next? Once we receive the returned package, our returns department will check the item and packaging. If everything is in order as described above, your purchase amount will be refunded as soon as possible (no later than 14 days after withdrawal, once the item is received, or once complete proof of return has been provided). IMPORTANT: If you purchased your item via Decathlon marketplace, you must request the return for the item through that platform. Payments are also processed via these marketplaces, so returns must be managed there. If there is NO return label in the package: Go to your customer account on Decathlon.ie and then click on "My orders". Click on the order you wish to return. Under "Order details", you can click on "Create a return/exchange ". You can then request a label/further instructions from the seller. Within 48 working hours, our customer service will provide you with all the necessary information to perform your return. If a return label is included: 1. Pack your items securely in the original box. 2. Stick the return label in a visible place on the package. 3. Send the package to the return address indicated above.

Warranty and conformity The warranty includes: 1 year manufacturer’s warranty, excluding damage and user errors. 6.1 The trader guarantees that the products and/or services comply with the agreement, the specifications stated in the offer, the reasonable requirements of soundness and/or usability, and the legal provisions and/or government regulations in force on the date the agreement was concluded. 6.2 Any warranty arrangement offered by the trader, manufacturer, or importer does not affect the rights and claims that the consumer may assert against the trader under the law and/or the distance contract in the event of a failure by the trader to fulfill their obligations. 6.3 The customer is obliged to inspect the delivered goods immediately upon receipt. If it appears that the delivered item is incorrect, defective, or incomplete, the customer must immediately notify CHEAPOUTDOOR.NL of these defects in writing (before proceeding with the return). Any defects or incorrectly delivered goods must be reported to CHEAPOUTDOOR.NL in writing no later than two months after delivery. The goods must be returned in the original packaging (including accessories and accompanying documentation) and in new condition. 6.4 If the customer’s complaints are found to be justified by CHEAPOUTDOOR.NL, CHEAPOUTDOOR will, at its discretion, either replace the delivered goods free of charge or reach a written settlement with the customer regarding compensation for damages, on the understanding that the liability of CHEAPOUTDOOR.NL—and therefore the amount of compensation—shall always be limited to at most the invoice amount of the goods in question or (at CHEAPOUTDOOR.NL’s discretion) to the maximum amount covered in the relevant case by CHEAPOUTDOOR.NL’s liability insurance. Any liability of CHEAPOUTDOOR.NL for any other form of damage is excluded, including additional compensation in any form whatsoever, compensation for indirect or consequential damage, or damages due to lost profits. 6.5 CHEAPOUTDOOR.NL is not liable for damage caused by intent or deliberate recklessness equivalent thereto on the part of non-managerial staff. 6.6 This warranty does not apply if: A) and for as long as the customer is in default toward CHEAPOUTDOOR.NL; B) the customer has repaired and/or modified the delivered goods themselves or has had them repaired and/or modified by third parties; C) the delivered goods have been exposed to abnormal conditions or have otherwise been handled carelessly or contrary to the instructions of CHEAPOUTDOOR.NL and/or the directions for use on the packaging; D) the defect is wholly or partly the result of regulations that the government has set or will set regarding the nature or quality of the materials used. Cooling-off period / Right of withdrawal 4.1 In the case of a consumer purchase, in accordance with the Distance Selling Act (Article 7:5 of the Dutch Civil Code), the customer has the right to notify the return of (part of) the delivered goods within a period of 30 days without stating any reason. This period starts at the moment the ordered items have been delivered. After reporting the return, the customer has 14 days to return the item. If the customer has not returned the delivered goods to CHEAPOUTDOOR.NL after this period, the purchase becomes final. Before proceeding with the return, the customer must notify CHEAPOUTDOOR.NL in writing within 30 days after delivery. The customer must prove that the delivered goods were returned on time, for example by means of proof of postage. The goods must be returned in the original packaging (including accessories and accompanying documentation) and in new condition. Subject to the provisions of the previous sentence, CHEAPOUTDOOR.NL will ensure that the full purchase amount, including the charged shipping costs, is refunded to the customer within 14 days after the withdrawal notification. This is on the condition that the product has already been received by the webshop or that conclusive proof of complete return shipment can be provided. The return of the delivered goods is entirely at the customer’s risk. CheapOutdoor Returns 4.2 The right of dissolution, as described in the previous paragraph, applies only to the delivered goods and will under no circumstances apply to services for which CHEAPOUTDOOR.NL acts solely as an intermediary or agent. 4.3 The right of withdrawal does not apply to: goods or services whose price is subject to fluctuations in the financial market over which the supplier has no control; goods manufactured according to the consumer’s specifications, such as custom-made products, or that have a clearly personal character; goods or services that by their nature cannot be returned, for example for hygiene reasons or because they spoil or age quickly; audio and video recordings and computer software for which the consumer has broken the seal; the delivery of newspapers and magazines; services related to betting and lotteries. 4.4 If you wish to exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, you must notify us within the 30-day reflection period by using contacting us via Decathlon. After this notification, you will receive a return label from us to send the product back within 14 days after your notification. You must return the product with all supplied accessories, as far as possible in its original condition and packaging, and in accordance with the reasonable and clear instructions provided by us. The risk and burden of proof for the correct and timely exercise of the right of withdrawal lie with you. 4.5 We will use the same payment method for the refund as you used, unless you agree to another payment method. The refund is free of charge. 4.6 During the reflection period, you must handle the product and its packaging with care. You may only unpack or use the product to the extent necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, and functioning. The guiding principle is that you may only use and inspect the product as you would be allowed to do in a physical store. If you do not handle the product with care as outlined in Article 4.6 and the product is damaged as a result, you are liable for the depreciation of the product. You are not liable for depreciation if we failed to provide you with all legally required information about the right of withdrawal before or at the time the purchase agreement was concluded.
