Product Description
The Pioneer bridle is a bit with an improved cavesson designed to sit higher on the nasal bone to relieve pressure on the airways and the bit, reduce tension on the skeletal structure, and minimise the risk of injury, with an integrated cushion for stability that is adjustable to three heights for a personalised fit that frees sensitive nerve endings from any pressure.
This bit could be considered an evolution of a traditional cavesson. A traditional cavesson is often hard to adjust, which can cause it to sit too close to the bit or press on the airways, and the side pieces can also tend to slide above the eyes. We have solved this by placing the cavesson higher on the nasal bone, which reduces pressure on the airways and eliminates pressure around the bit. Another important detail is that the pressure on the skeletal structure is reduced because the nasal bone gets thinner lower down. By eliminating pressure here, the risk of future injuries is minimised and a more comfortable fit is achieved. The cavesson also has an integrated cushion that provides extra stability, perfect for the young horse. The Pioneer cavesson is also adjustable and can be tightened to three different heights, making it very adaptable. These options minimise the risk of the bit becoming stuck. At the same time, sensitive nerve endings are completely freed from pressure and tension. The rider can choose between an anatomical cavesson, a more classic English training cavesson, or a combination of the two.
