On your winter rides, whether on road, gravel or mountain bike, the new Orhi Dyneema shorts will provide you with the best protection against the cold and safeguard against skin injuries in case of a fall. We present the first winter shorts using Dyneema fibre.
It is made by combining two technologies: the Thermosystem Termika fabric, which acts as a thermoregulator, constantly maintaining body temperature while creating an air layer between the fabric, the skin, and the Dyneema 3.0 fibre that offers excellent compression and high resistance to cuts and abrasion in the most exposed areas, such as the hips and buttocks.
A meticulous pattern combines different fabric panels and Dyneema fibre, providing maximum freedom of movement as well as excellent comfort and compression for long winter rides. The seams on the inner thighs are eliminated to avoid chafing and improve overall fit. A new fastening band is added at the ankle and waist to enhance the placement of the shorts. The straps are made from a single piece without seams, eliminating pressure points while pedalling.
We use Etxeondo Precision & Movement technology, which allows us to give a perfect anatomical shape to the Urraki protection, ensuring an unbeatable fit for the cyclist and position in the shorts. The inner chamois is joined to the shorts using elastic and silky threads so that the seam runs smoothly, as does the fabric.
The Urraki chamois is made up of different pieces of high-recovery viscoelastic foam with memory, so it does not deform and allows independent movement from the cyclist's actions on the bike. The outer microfiber fabric reduces the skin temperature during friction, and no glue or stamping is used to avoid any allergic reaction or excessive heating of the skin, in addition to the antibacterial treatment.
