The padding of the Adaptive saddle is manufactured by Carbon® using its revolutionary Digital Light Synthesis technology. DLS is an additive manufacturing process that uses digital projection of ultraviolet light, oxygen-permeable optics and programmable liquid resins to produce parts with excellent mechanical properties, resolution and surface finish.Thanks to Carbon's technology, biomechanists and engineers have an unprecedented opportunity: to design and manufacture multiple functional zones in the saddle, tuning each one separately for specific mechanical properties. Each of these key functional zones is designed for distinct damping and mechanical response, brought together progressively and seamlessly in the same padding. The result? A 60% reduction in peak pressure thanks to improved weight distribution, for enhanced comfort across the entire saddle surface.Our most versatile saddle shape, Argo is at home on a wide variety of bikes and surfaces. Whether riding on smooth tarmac or navigating technical terrain, the Argo saddle is designed to help riders find a better posture, placing them in a more planted position for greater stability and better weight distribution. In addition, the shorter, plunging-nose design offers superior support when adopting a powerful, aerodynamic pedaling position.To develop the ideal Adaptive comfort zones, we studied the different riding positions and pressure points of professional and amateur cyclists, both in the Fizik labs and on open roads, gravel tracks and trails.
