Stan’s Original Rim Tape creates a durable, airtight seal between tubeless
rims and tubeless tyres. Designed to work with tubeless sealant systems, the
non-porous material helps maintain an ideal conditions inside the rim so
sealant remains liquid and effective for longer.
The tape acts as a protective barrier inside both alloy and carbon rims,
shielding spoke holes, nipples and the rim interior from moisture while
ensuring a reliable airtight seal.
A synthetic adhesive keeps the tape firmly in place while leaving no residue
behind when removed. The low-friction surface also helps tyre beads slide
easily into position during installation.
As a general rule, Stan’s recommends selecting rim tape that is 1–2mm wider
than the internal width of your rim for the best seal.
