Petzl REVERSO is a versatile belayer/descender suitable for single, double, and twin ropes. Weighing only 57 g, it is ultra-light and compact for easy transport. The Reverso mode allows for belaying one or two seconds with assisted braking. The V-shaped grooves and rounded rope path provide excellent braking control. Installation diagrams are engraved on the device for safety and speed. The REVERSO is designed to work with a wide range of diameters: single ropes from 8.5 to 10.5 mm, double ropes from 7.1 to 9.2 mm, and twin ropes from 6.9 to 9.2 mm, offering great versatility for sport climbing, multi-pitch routes, and mountaineering. Made from aluminium with a compact body and rounded rope path, the REVERSO minimizes rope wear while remaining robust and lightweight, ideal for long approaches and reduced backpacks. The V-shaped braking grooves ensure excellent braking control and smooth rope sliding, facilitating top-rope belaying, rappelling, and wall maneuvers. The Reverso mode allows for belaying one or two seconds from the anchor with assisted braking; a release hole also allows for easy slack management for the second using a carabiner.
