The Wild Country Movement belay device is designed to provide maximum safety for the climber and comfort and control over the rope for the belayer. More reliable than a tube and intuitive to use, the design and durability of the Wild Country model make securing a partner more comfortable, even if they are heavier than you; it helps catch falls while leading routes effectively by blocking the rope, requiring less effort from the belayer. At the same time, the device facilitates controlled lowering of the climber. All key components and parts in contact with the rope are made of steel for long-lasting durability, while the grip areas are textured thermoplastic polyurethane to prevent slipping in hand. The device is designed for single ropes with a diameter of 8.5 to 11 mm and allows for securing both while leading and top-roping.
