Product Description
Our most accomplished helmet, true to our values.
The TREPS, like its sibling the RASCAS, is an opportunity for the new design team to reaffirm the brand's heritage while creating its future momentum. Technical constraints such as airflow control, an innovative visor system, protection, and comfort were central to the design process, ensuring that all the elements that make a helmet a good helmet are ticked off the charts. It's safe to say that the TREPS is a superb helmet that, like any good product, becomes almost invisible during use. Focus on your ride; we'll take care of protecting your head and the planet.
Airflow: Good helmet ventilation is primarily characterized by its ability to actively and passively dissipate heat. To achieve this, the TREPS features large vents at both the front and rear of the helmet for passive ventilation.
But above all, for active riding, there are ventilation channels inside the helmet that guide airflow and keep the rider cool.
Planet-sourced Pads: Why use synthetic fibers when the earth does it so well? Unlike traditional materials, bamboo fiber offers a unique combination of strength, flexibility, and comfort. Furthermore, bamboo's moisture-wicking properties help regulate temperature and keep the rider dry, even during extended use. Bamboo is a durable, rapidly renewable, and a planet resource, making it an ideal choice for earth consciuos consumers.
The Everyday Helmet: Because we wanted this helmet to tick all the right boxes, we equipped the TREPS with the innovative Fidlock magnetic buckle for a more comfortable, convenient, and secure experience. In addition, for a perfect fit, the helmet features a discreet and precise occipital adjustment system. SOFTER IS SMARTER: Our mountain bike helmet, designed for protection, couldn't do without the best protection, so it naturally incorporates ERT technology.
POP-OFF System: More than just a dual-position visor, the POP-OFF visor system designed by Urge has a third, virtual position: a detachment position. Difficult to reach to prevent accidental activation, this position activates in case of greater forces. The goal is to reduce whiplash injuries and protect the visor in the event of a hard fall. And of course, the visor is made of recycled material (Nylon). A place for your glasses: Whether worn on your nose or stored under the visor, glasses are part of our rides, so everything has been designed to ensure they integrate perfectly with the TREPS helmet.
