Plastimo - Buoy for Regatta Training
This buoy was developed in collaboration with the French Tornado Olympic team and is therefore particularly suitable for training first-class regatta teams, for races or regatta training in sailing schools.
It can be used either as a drifting buoy or as a traditional regatta buoy and also offers the advantages of being less bulky and very easy to handle.
• PVC 1100 Decitex: robust and durable.
• Yellow, therefore highly visible.
• Drifts very little in the wind and remains in a vertical position, due to the ballast and because a large part of the buoy is in the water (52 cm).
• Quick inflation and deflation: buoy equipped with a 1/4 inch valve (Halkey Roberts type), suitable for most bellows.
• Easy to bring on board thanks to the numerous carrying handles.
• Easy to transport: small size when folded.
Ballast bag with Velcro fastener for a ballast of approx. 14 kg (recommended weight, e.g. stones, pebbles, etc.)
This bag also proves practical for stowing excess anchor line so that the rudder blade or keel does not get caught in it.

If the buoy is used as a classic regatta buoy, the anchor line can be attached to the handle at the bottom of the buoy.
